Mormon Monday: Peace

I think one of the most common misconceptions I have encountered about our church is the idea that we don’t believe in the Bible.  This is, of course, a false assumption or belief.  We do indeed believe in the Bible.  Specifically, we use the King James version of the Bible.

One of my favorite verses is found in James, chapter 14 verse 27:

Peace I leve with you, my peace I give unto you:  not as the world giveth, give I unto  you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

I am really trying to take this scripture to heart right now.  McH just got the official job offer.  He is starting April 1st.  We have to get our house on the market asap.  We still need to get Quinn home.  We need to find a new house (or make an offer on one we’ve found already).

I can’t decide if I should cry or vomit.  Or just keep reading the next book in the Stephanie Meyer’s series.  It’s pleasantly distracting, but it doesn’t help get the house ready to show.

*Breathe*

*Peace*

*Breathe*

Tewt the Newt is hiding in a hole somewhere.

Uncle Dave has a niece and two nephews who live in Radiator Springs He might be able to give you information about the area, as they all graduated from R.S. High.

  2. Congrats on the official offer. I really hope everything goes smoothly with the move and Quinn. You’ve had enough spots…your turn for smooth sailing, right!

  3. Wow. Congrats on the job offer. That’s a lot on your plate, but I’m glad to hear that the offer is official. Best of luck with the details. I’d vomit, BTW.

  4. Oh goodness! Congrats on the job, even though it’ll sure be crazy for now I know you were really looking forward to this offer. Life will be just a teeny bit crazy for a bit, eh? Hopefully the job offer finally happening is the tip of the iceberg of things falling into place that should have fallen into place a while ago, eh? Good luck with it all!
