Never Think You Can’t Find Answers on the Internet

What with the ill-timed attack of the nose goblins and the very nice visit with my mother-in-law (though I fear we bored her to death, between being out in the boonies and having my energy sapped by my inability to breathe), I am woefully behind on reading everyone else’s blogs.

But I’m working on it.  I’m getting there.  I am, unfortunately, skimming a lot and not having the time to comment much.

Anyway, I just had to take a break from that, and from the kids, and the schooling, and the cleaning, and the beating of the dogs (okay, seriously, I don’t beat the dogs, though Rude . . . ) . . . where was I?

Right.  I just had to take a moment to thank KelleyO for posting, in the comments of my last post, what appear to be the legitimate lyrics to Rob Pattinson’s song, Never Think.  I don’t know where she found them or how she knows them, but my theories are vacillating between her being the song lyric interpreting genius equivalent of the seventh-grade handwriting interpreting genius (which I suppose would make her a seventh-grade choir teacher), or her being somehow related to Rob Pattinson.

Oh my.  Kelley, if you are indeed related to Mr. Pattinson, I certainly didn’t mean to insult one of your family.  He is hot, though way too young for me, so I don’t really think of him in that way.  He also did an amazing job of dying in that Harry Potter movie, so I know he is just an enormously talented actor.  And I mentioned he’s cute, right?  The bone structure of a Greek god or fictional vampire or something.  Really, I’d never want to insult your family.

Could you get me his autograph?  And maybe tell him to take the circus peanuts out of his mouth the next time he sings?

Or maybe Kelley just knows someone in the business?  In which case, Kelley, could you get me his autograph?  And maybe tell someone to tell him to take the circus peanuts out of his mouth the next time he sings?

At any rate, thank you for those lyrics, which are great, especially if you are familiar with the novel.  Really, perfect lyrics in that context, though I find mine somewhat more entertaining.

And George, if you’re out there, Tewt the Newt is counting down the days to the movie release.

  1. Yeah. I just heard the song and can I just say that if Rob thinks he is channeling Edward while singing here then I am SERIOUSLY nervous about his portrayal in the movie?

My friend has heard some of his other songs, though, and says that’s just what he always sounds like when he sings. Oh, gosh, I hope so!

Oh and also, I really love circus peanuts but I think they’re ruined forever for me now.
