Yes, in addition to her newfound interest in cage fighting, last summer Blue Barb also took up spear fishing.  I suppose I could be nice and go chop a hole so she could ice fish, but you know what they say, “No good deed goes unpunished,” and with Barb around we live in fear of that.

  1. Its been awhile since we last saw Blue Barb. Now we know why. She’s out on her yacht looking to get a tan. That girl needs to stop slackin’! 🙂

  2. Scary dolly aside…is that your backyard lake? What a beautiful rocky bottom! We had one growing up, but the bottom was just slimy mud and I was always to freaked out to stand in it!

  3. I hesitate to admit this, but I’ve missed Blue Barb! I hear ya on spring – I left pleasant 62 degree weather this morning to come back to -6 (without windchill) at home. Yuck, yuck, yuck.

  4. Obviously, I came to your blog too late. I’m definitely missing some back story here. Who is Blue Barb? Why is she wrapped in foil? And where does she get her hair cut?

  5. Michelle, go to the categories box (right under the thinking blogger award) and type in Blue Barb. It should pull up all of the previous posts about her. If you don’t find the one about her origins, let me know and I’ll go back and make sure I tag the post with her name. She isn’t always wrapped in foil. That was just a way to build a boat for her.

  6. I hate to burst your bubble, but I, too am annoyed by this winter. Only, it bugs me that our apartment is so poorly insulated that we have to run the AC at 8pm in January. Does this annoy anyone else…or is it just me? Seriously, though, I totally understand being thoroughly done with winter. I did grow up in the ice storm capital of the world…southern Missouri!
